The second year after graduation, the Voting Member fee for former Student Members is $70. The third year after graduation, the fee is $95. Four years after graduation, the FPS Voting Member fee of $125 per year applies for residents in the United States, Canada, and Mexico or $135 per year for residents in all other countries.

Student Members residing in any one of the IUFRO-recognized developing countries may become Student Developing Country Members for $15 per year. This membership option includes an online subscription to the Forest Products Journal.

Retired Membership

Retired Membership is available to individuals who have been Voting Members and are now retired from their profession. The $55 per year fee includes a subscription to either the Forest Products Journal (online access and printed copy) or the International Journal of Forest Engineering (printed copy). For an additional $45 per year, Retired Members may choose to have subscriptions to both the Forest Products Journal (online access and printed copy) and the International Journal of Forest Engineering (printed copy). If Retired Members choose to have only online access to the Forest Products Journal (no printed copy), the fee is $15 per year.

Corporate Membership

Corporate Membership is available to all corporations or organizations. Corporate Members may designate individuals within their organization as Voting Members, thereby assuring that the technical information available from the Society gets into the hands of those employees who need it most. Each designated member then receives all of the benefits listed above for individual membership. The number of Voting Members a Corporate Member can designate depends on the dues level selected:

In addition to the benefits and services available to individual Voting Members, Corporate Members receive added benefits, including: a one-time full-page description in the Forest Products Journal of the company/organization and its services; substantially reduced ad rates on general, classified, and professional/technical service ads in the Forest Products Journal; acknowledgment of membership in every issue of the Forest Products Journal; and inclusion of the company/organization logo and description on the Corporate Members Links page of the FPS website. Corporate member company/organizations may also display promotional materials at the annual FPS International Convention.

Developing Country Membership is available to individuals residing in any one of the IUFRO-recognized developing countries for $35 US per year ($15 for full-time students). All correspondence and services will be provided to Developing Country Members by e-mail or through this website; therefore, each individual must have a valid e-mail address and access to the Internet.
