WORKSHOP

“Cellulose Nanocomposites Workshop: From Raw Materials to Applications”
Tuesday, May 16th – 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
Forest Products Laboratory, Madison, WI

Who should attend?

Academic and industrial professionals interested in learning about the exciting opportunities that lignocellulosic nanomaterials and nanocomposites offer should attend this conference.

What will I learn?
An overview of cellulose nanomaterials and nanocomposites. The enormous potential of these materials, as well as some of the associated challenges, will be also be addressed in this workshop, which will provide a good foundation for anyone looking to begin research in this area or to incorporate these materials into products.

How can this knowledge be applied to my work?
Whether you are an academic, engineer, business person or manager, you should come away with a broad perspective of cellulose nanomaterials and a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges to producing and using them. Opportunities for expanding research areas and creating new applications will be discussed in multiple sessions with opportunities to make numerous expert contacts in this field.
