Included are pre-finishing of wood products with attendant coating, drying, conveying, and other mechanized equipment, use of species and logs heretofore rejected, feeding veneer direct from the lathe to the dryer, veneer reeling and unreeling equipment, quick-opening presses with allied loading and unloading, and application of transparent vinyl film onto wood to give a highly resistant surface to most of the hazards normally expected in the use of wood.
