Design Possibilities of Automatic Shapers and Routers

Conventional design and use of routers are described. The redesign of a router is explained, entailing improvement of function and appearance while reducing manufacturing cost. The function and design of automatic shapers are also explained. Potential innovations that might be applied to the shaper are a tracer control system, allowing use of lighter templates, and a “mechanical feedback” of error signals.
