Damaging amounts of condensation were found during a. survey of air-cooled buildings along the South Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. It occurred with sufficient frequency to warrant its consideration in the design, operation, and maintenance of air-conditioned buildings in hot, humid climates. Preventive measures, such as maintaining a dry crawl space, cooling in daytime only, and not directing cold-air streams at floors, are suggested.
