9th International Symposium on Nondestructive Testing of Wood

Considerable research has been devoted to developing
nondestructive evaluation (NDE) techniques
for the forest products industry. These
research efforts have resulted in significant advances
for the use of wood in engineered applications
and the in-place assessment of wood members
in structures. Future applications of NDE
will build upon its successes. Areas of emphasis
will include NDE techniques for green material,
underutilized species, recycled materials, and forest
health monitoring.
