A Technical Workshop: Juvenile WoodWhat Does It Mean to Forest Management and Forest Products?

This workshop was a cooperative effort of the North Puget Sound and Portland
Chapters of the Society of American Foresters and the Pacific Northwest
Section of the Forest Products Research Society. To facilitate local attendance,
the workshop was held in two locations, the World Forestry Center, Portland,
Oregon on October 17, 1985 and the Holiday Inn, Bellingham, Washington,
November 7,1985. The program chairman was William L. Galligan, FPRS,
Frank Lumber Company, Mill City, Oregon. Assisting with the program and
in charge of local arrangements were James M. Worl, Portland SAF, First Interstate
Bank, Portland, Oregon; and David M. Kurtz, N. Puget Sound SAF,
Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Bellingham, Washington.
