Heat generated in sanding wood-plastic combinations (WPC) causes clogging of the abrasive by the thermoplastic resin. By adding 1 percent of a crosslinking agent such as l,3- butylene dimethacrylate or other divinyl compounds, a thermoset resin results and sanding properties are improved greatly. More detailed observations are not available at this time.
