Bond durability of outdoor exposed plywood made with three resins and assembly times and with 16 Southeast Asian hardwood species has been observed for 7-l/2 years. Most species have performed satisfactorily; however, some panels began delaminating within 6 months and others are only now beginning to delaminate. Troublesome species showed little delamination after 4-l/2 years of outdoor exposure in plywood panels that had veneer surfaces planed before gluing.
