Estimating the threshold retention of preservative from soil block tests

A statistical procedure is developed to empirically estimate the threshold retention of preservative from weight loss data, adjusted with operational weight loss. This procedure can accommodate data sets with either a small or large number of replicates. The statistical techniques for calculating confidence intervals of the estimators are also described.
