Forest Industries of Mainland China

This is a report of a visit to mainland China in 1963 visiting logging operations, wood industrial plants, and research laboratories, The report discusses timber resources, principal wood species, logging, wood products plants, seasoning and preservation, pulp and paper industry, communes and local small plants, forest products research. The conclusion is that progress has been good but that China has a shortage of forest products.
