Integrated protection against lyctid beetle infestations. VI. Thermal treatment of tropical hardwood lumber with polyborates

Results are presented for air-dried banak that had been treated with a polyborate using a thermal treatment process. Results indicate that surface protection can be achieved using short immersion times. A diffusion storage period resulted in deeper, more uniform penetration.
