Moisture Distribution Illustrated By Contour Chart

A technique is described for displaying physical properties (such as moisture content or preservative distribution) of a wood sample on a contour map. Where related properties or features are to be compared, the maps may be prepared on transparent film which may then be superimposed for direct comparison.
