New Torsion Test for Particleboard

A technique has been developed for testing the internal strength of particleboard in situ by a simple torsion test. A good correlation with the conventional ASTM test has been obtained. The new test concept could lead to a practical and relatively nondestructive test for the internal strength of particleboard.
