Beginning January 1, 2022, the Forest Products Journal will be transitioning to a digital only format with open access for all articles. Forest Product Society members will receive email notifications when new full issues are published each quarter. As an added benefit, all newly published articles will be continuously available online. The open access online portal will also include any past articles published between 2009 and 2021. FPS members will retain access to articles published prior to 2009 through the Knowledge Base.

Manuscripts published in the Forest Products Journal are subject to an article charge of $1800 US for FPS members and $2000 US charge for nonmembers. (Technical Notes will be charged at $800/$1000 US for members and nonmembers respectively.)
